Job Requirements/Duties of the Post:

Responsibilities include correct dispensing, safe custody of stores, issuing medicines as per prescriptions, maintaining cleanliness, and performing duties assigned by higher authorities.

Pharmacist Duties:

Dispensing prescription medicines.

Ensuring different treatments are compatible.

Checking dosage and safely supplying and labeling medicines.

Keeping a register of controlled drugs.

Liaising with doctors about prescriptions.

Counseling and advising the public on the treatment of minor ailments.

Advising patients on adverse side effects or potential interactions.

Arranging the delivery of prescription medicines.

Overseeing the ordering and safe storage of medical products.

Managing, supervising, and training pharmacy support staff.

Keeping up-to-date with current pharmacy practice and new drugs.
